Creating a room

Name it, choose who sees it, add a password if you need one — the room is ready.

What happens on a call — in detail

Every frame you see in the video is explained here at length: what happens, why, and where the control is.

Chapter 1

Before the call

A room takes ten seconds to create and one code to share.

01

Creating a room

A room is a permanent place inside your company: the call, the chat, the files and the recordings all gather there. When you create one you name it, decide whether it appears in the company list or stays private, optionally set a password, and say how many participants it holds.

  • A private room is hidden from the list, but the code still opens it.
  • A password is at least 8 characters and is set only on a private room.
  • The participant limit goes up to your plan’s ceiling — 100 on the largest.

Where it is: Panel or call app → Rooms → Create room.

02

Sharing the code

The code and the link open the same door. Send it by messenger, email or a calendar invite — the recipient needs neither an account nor an app.

  • The code is permanent — the same room opens every time.
  • A guest enters with the link, a colleague with the company account.
  • The code is 8 Latin letters and digits — easy to read out over the phone.

Where it is: In the call → Invite people → copy the code or the link in one tap.

03

Joining from the browser

The door is in the browser — no install, no extension. Before entering you see your own camera, the microphone level is measured live, and you choose which camera, microphone and speaker to use.

  • A guest knocks — the host sees the request and lets them in or declines.
  • Camera and microphone can be switched off before entering.
  • Works on desktop, phone and tablet, in a modern browser.

Where it is: Open the link → type a name → Join.

Chapter 2

During the call

Everyone on camera at once — and the tools a real conversation needs.

04

Talking face to face

Everyone is on screen at the same time. The speaker’s tile gets a blue frame and the level meter moves next to their name; a muted microphone shows a red icon so nobody talks into silence. Gallery shows everyone equally; Spotlight shows the speaker large and the rest in a side strip.

  • The largest plan holds 100 participants in one room.
  • A raised hand shows on the tile and queues in the participant list.
  • The call runs through a media server — many cameras do not weigh on the browser.

Where it is: M for the microphone, V for the camera. Switch views from the control bar.

05

Sharing the screen

The screen goes out as its own stream, so the presenter’s face stays visible and the participants do not disappear — they move to a side strip. Choose what to share: one tab, one window or the whole display.

  • One person shares at a time; starting a second share stops the first.
  • A shared screen is captured in the recording too.
  • You can change what you show at any moment while sharing.

Where it is: S or the share button. Stop with the same button.

06

Chat, files and voice notes

The chat opens beside the call and belongs to the room — what was written during the call can be read afterwards. Drop a file onto the panel to send it, hold the microphone button to record a voice note, and a reply to any message shows with a quote.

  • Files up to 25 MB; stored in the company’s storage.
  • A “typing…” indicator shows who is writing right now.
  • The unread count shows on the chat button.

Where it is: Controls → Chat. Files — drop them in or pick with the paperclip.

07

Reactions and raising a hand

A reaction rises over your tile for a moment — applause, a heart, a laugh — and fades. A few are “pinned”: Yes, No, Slower, Faster, Coffee break, Be right back — they stay on the tile until you clear them. A raised hand is visible to everyone and queues in the participant list, so the host knows who speaks next.

  • 18 reactions, 6 of them pinned statuses that stay on the tile.
  • A raised hand shows both on the tile and in the participant list.
  • A reaction is visible to every participant at the same time.

Where it is: The hand and the smiley are in the control bar.

08

Live captions

Captions appear in the bar at the bottom of the call, with the speaker’s name, the moment they speak. Choose the language the conversation is in — Georgian, English, German and more, 10 in all. Each participant turns captions on for themselves; nobody is forced.

  • 10 languages, Georgian included.
  • Each participant switches captions on and off for themselves.
  • The browser does the recognition; the text reaches participants over the call channel.

Where it is: Call settings → Captions → Language.

09

Blurring or replacing the background

The background effect processes the camera picture on your own device: the person stays sharp, the backdrop blurs or becomes a scene. Because the processing happens in the browser, the raw camera picture is never sent anywhere. Turn it on before joining or during the call.

  • Works before you join and during the call.
  • Others see the processed picture — the raw frame never leaves your browser.
  • The effect uses your device’s resources; on a weak device it is better off.

Where it is: Call settings → Background → Blur or a scene.

10

Quality that adapts

Auto checks every few seconds how much your connection and computer can carry and adjusts the video size accordingly — down fast, back up slowly. If the uplink still cannot cope, the camera pauses for a while so the voice stays clear, and comes back by itself when the connection recovers.

  • Tiers from 360p to 1080p.
  • Audio is protected first, the picture second.
  • Connection statistics are in the call settings.

Where it is: Call settings → Video → Quality: Auto or a fixed size.

11

The mini window

When you move to another tab or application during a call, the browser lifts the call into a small floating window: you see the speaker and toggle your microphone and camera right there. When you come back, everything returns to its place.

  • Works in Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge); elsewhere the call stays in its tab.
  • Microphone and camera are controlled from the mini window.
  • Returning to the tab closes the window by itself.

Where it is: Controls → Mini window, or simply switch to another tab.

Chapter 3

Recording and host controls

When the call has to be kept — and when someone has to keep order.

12

Recording the call

Paid plans

Recording captures the whole call: the gallery, the shared screen and every participant’s audio. Everyone sees the red indicator. When you stop, the recording is ready within seconds and appears in the room’s files — to play in the browser or download. It is kept in the company’s storage, within your plan’s limits.

  • The recording lives in the room’s files — also reachable from the history.
  • How many recordings can run at once depends on the plan.
  • Recordings count against storage; an administrator sees the remaining space in the panel.

Where it is: More controls → Start recording. A paid-plan feature.

13

Host controls and security

The host sees who is knocking and lets them in or declines; can mute a participant who forgot their microphone, and remove anyone who should not be in the room. One thing even the host cannot do is switch someone else’s microphone on: the participant gets a request and decides themselves. Media is encrypted in transit with DTLS-SRTP.

  • A password-protected room asks for the password before entry.
  • The host can never turn a microphone on for someone else.
  • A company room holds only company members and the guests the host admitted.

Where it is: Participants panel: Let in / Deny, Mute, Remove.

Chapter 4

After the call

The meeting ends; its trace stays in the workspace.

14

AI notes after the meeting

When the call ends, AI processes the recording and prepares a transcript with speaker names, a short summary, the decisions taken and the tasks. The result appears in the room’s history; optionally everything is also saved to your company’s Google Drive folder.

  • The analysis language is chosen in settings.
  • Processing takes a few minutes; the status shows in the panel.
  • An unwanted record is deleted in one click.

Where it is: Panel → Settings → AI analysis (an administrator turns it on, on a paid plan).

15

History for administrators

An authorised administrator sees the room’s chat, shared files, recordings and attendance in its history — who joined when and how long they stayed. Everything is in the company’s storage; no other organization can see it.

  • Access is decided by role — owner, admin, member.
  • Deleting a room deletes its history too — after a warning.
  • Storage use and limits are in the panel.

Where it is: Panel → Rooms → History (owner and admin roles).
